Interested in organizing a Do It Yourself Personalized Poem Workshop?
I would be happy to meet with you and your group to help get you started on writing your own poems. This is a great wedding party activity (think pre-shower or pre-bachelorette party gathering.)
You can decide if you’d like the workshop to have a theme (wedding, love, holidays, friendship, etc.) or if you’d like to leave it open. I will help to lead the group through a list of directed questions in order to generate ideas, discuss the basics of poetry writing and help with the final editing process.
Ideally, the workshop will have 3 – 10 participants and will last 1.5 hours. The best location is someplace quiet with a writing surface (a living room, back room of a coffee shop, etc.)
