Readers are welcome to chime in and vote for their favorite. You are encouraged to post more than one joke. The deadline has been extended to Friday, May 1st at noon.

Here are some great comments I received via Facebook:
The funbags themselves are the joke. (KC)
Poem by Lauren Turner:
Boobies bouncing in the breeze;
Moist, maternal mammaries.
A source of life that fills with awe.
We get it—now, put on a bra!
In response to my FB and my fiance’s FB announcement that I’ll be reading a new bra poem and an underwear poem:
– The bra poem isn’t a limerick, is it? 😉 (Debbie)
Not sure if it’s a joke, but I swear that I played a game of Trivial Pursuit many years ago in which the inventor of the bra was identified as one Dr. Otto Titsling.
That’s funny, especially if it’s true! Thanks, Seth.
okay, given that I wrote the novel I don’t think I can also post a joke. But thank you Chloe! We have more than bras in common, too: I have a piece published in “My Wedding Dress: True-Life Tales of Lace, Laughter, Tears and Tulle” (Randome House Canada, 2007). Who knew?
Bette Midler has a great song about Otto Titsling and Phillipe de Brassiere. You can watch it here:
And why don’t we call it a titsling? i love that song. and who knew there’s a video? ah, i’m an old fart, but soon to be an old fart laughing out loud w/ bette.
i was thinking about bra stores, readings, and mother/daughter outings and all i could say was:
it’s important to bring your girls up right!
i’m even going to listen to bette before the ny times. that’s big.
you’re doing fun stuff chloe!
