Not sure if it’s a joke, but I swear that I played a game of Trivial Pursuit many years ago in which the inventor of the bra was identified as one Dr. Otto Titsling.

okay, given that I wrote the novel I don’t think I can also post a joke. But thank you Chloe! We have more than bras in common, too: I have a piece published in “My Wedding Dress: True-Life Tales of Lace, Laughter, Tears and Tulle” (Randome House Canada, 2007). Who knew?

And why don’t we call it a titsling? i love that song. and who knew there’s a video? ah, i’m an old fart, but soon to be an old fart laughing out loud w/ bette.

i was thinking about bra stores, readings, and mother/daughter outings and all i could say was:

it’s important to bring your girls up right!

i’m even going to listen to bette before the ny times. that’s big.
